The UMI Performance weight jack kit is a set of front and rear components designed for 1982-1992 GM F-Body models. This kit offers a medium-firm ride suitable for various driving conditions, from daily driving to road racing. It includes custom-wound springs with options for 850 lb/in front and 175 lb/in rear, or 1050 lb/in front and 200 lb/in rear. The jack plates utilize UMI exclusive thrust bearings for even load distribution and easy height adjustment, allowing for a ride height adjustment from factory to a 2-1/2" drop.

The UMI Performance weight jack kit is engineered for the 1982-1992 GM F-Body platform, providing a medium-firm ride that excels in daily driving, corner carving, auto-x, and road racing applications. Constructed from strong US Steel with a 1/4" thick, CNC laser-cut design, this kit ensures durability. It features UMI's exclusive thrust bearings on the jack plates for smooth and even load distribution, allowing for ride height adjustment from stock to a 2-1/2" drop, with most track testing performed at a 2" drop. The kit offers two spring rate options: 850 lb/in front and 175 lb/in rear for daily driving and street cornering, or 1050 lb/in front and 200 lb/in rear for more aggressive performance driving. The rear kit is compatible with factory and Strange Engineering rear housings, while the front kit fits UMI and factory K-members. Manufactured in the USA, this kit boasts acme threads and thrust bearings for effortless ride height adjustments, typically managed with a ratchet and 3/4" socket. The design incorporates an anti-rotation tab and allows for independent corner weight tuning, a critical feature for optimizing auto-x handling. It maintains factory clearance around the strut, maximizing tire and wheel width potential. It is important to note that while the front kit fits UMI and factory K-members, it may not be compatible with other brands.
