The WFCO 8900 Series Electronic Power Centers include the converter/charger and AC-DC distribution. This model comes with a 30 amp Automatic Transfer Relay for generators. It is a popular replacement for Centurion CS4500 and CS6000, as well as Elixir power centers, offering advanced 3-stage charging instead of single stage. It provides a clean, constant 13.6 VDC output for reliable operation of electronics and appliances. Automatic 3-Stage charging maintains battery life with output voltages of 13.2 VDC (Sleep) mode, 13.6 VDC nominal charge, and 14.4 VDC (Boost) charge. The cooling fan runs only when needed, ensuring quiet operation. FCC Class B approval ensures no interference with televisions, radios, and other signals. Electronic current limiting protects the power center and electrical system during overload or short circuit conditions. The 8900 Series models offer AC/DC distribution with innovative features, accommodating a main AC circuit breaker of up to 30 amps and four additional AC breakers. It includes 11 DC fuse branch circuit positions with LED bulbs to identify short or open circuits. The WFCO T-30 auto transfer switch provides trouble-free changeover of power between shore power and generator. It can be installed onto the back of WFCO 8900 Series Power Centers or used as a stand-alone unit in conjunction with any AC panel. The compact design allows for easy placement, and its DC coil prevents AC “chatter” noise and dropout in low voltage conditions. Accidental coupling of power from or to shore line and generator is prevented by a “make before break” configuration.
