It features class-leading thermal performance, CFD and bench validated flow performance, and fatigue resistance. The wastegate is constructed with a Nitronic 60 valve guide and a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body, utilizing 17/7 PH stainless steel springs.

The Turbosmart WG40 Comp-Gate40 external wastegate is a motorsport-proven, cost-effective unit designed for precise boost control. It boasts the highest flow rate of its kind, offering extensive user configuration options, world-leading thermal performance, and exceptional fatigue resistance for optimal control and longevity. Constructed with a durable Nitronic 60 valve guide and a high-temperature 347 SS body, this wastegate utilizes 17/7 PH stainless steel springs to ensure reliability under demanding conditions. It also offers an optional liquid actuator cooling feature and comes with strap-type V-band clamps for secure installation. Available in various colors including Black, Blue, Red, Purple, and Sleeper, the GenV WG40 Comp-Gate40 also has optional upgrades such as a Wastegate Position Sensor, a Compressed Gas (e.g., CO2) version, a Motorsport version with enhanced heat dissipation, a High-Pressure (HP) version capable of up to 50psi, and an eWG (Electronic Actuated) version.
