Description

This sensor measures oxygen in automotive exhaust (gasoline or Diesel). The LSU 4.9 is a planar ZrO2 dual cell limiting current sensor with integrated heater. Its monotonic output (lambda 0.65 to air) allows universal use for lambda 1 and other ranges. A trimming resistor in the connector module defines its characteristic. Benefits include robust design and high Bosch production quality. Requires a special LSU-IC, found in most Bosch Motorsport ECUs and lambda control units (e.g., LT4). Replaces discontinued 0 258 017 052 sensor.
