The Porsche oil separator, also known as an Air/Oil Separator (AOS), is a Genuine Porsche replacement component for various Boxster models. This part, with the number 996-107-023-04, is designed to precisely fit the original equipment specifications. This oil separator is compatible with Porsche Boxster models from 1997 through 2002. Specifically, it fits the 1997-1998 Boxster with the 2.5L H6 2480cc engine, the 1999 Boxster with the 2.5L H6 2480cc engine, the 2000-2002 Boxster with the 2.7L H6 2687cc engine, and the 2000-2002 Boxster with the 3.2L H6 3179cc engine. Installation notes indicate that for certain model years and engine numbers, additional parts such as a clamp (999 512 630 00), a line (996 107 145 06), and an o-ring (999 707 446 40) may also be required.
