The Duplicolor HWP104 High Performance Wheel Paint offers a durable, long-lasting satin black finish for your vehicle's wheels and accessories. It effectively resists fading, chipping, chemicals, heat, weather, and corrosion, ensuring your wheels maintain their look and integrity. Its fast-drying properties allow it to be dry to the touch in just 30 minutes and handleable within 1 hour. The formula adheres superiorly to these surfaces, offering resistance against brake dust, cleaning solvents, and general wear and tear. For optimal results, apply in temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) with low humidity. The recommended application involves 3 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat, with all coats applied within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each spray. If recoating after 1 hour, a 7-day curing period is advised before applying additional coats. For enhanced protection and a complete finish, consider using Dupli-Color's Gloss or Matte Clear Coats. Proper surface preparation is crucial for achieving the best adhesion and durability; ensure surfaces are free from loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, and wax. Light sanding with 600-grit sandpaper and cleaning with a grease and wax remover or Dupli-Color® Prep Spray PS100 are recommended steps before application.
