The ARP 100-7726 is a robust GM wheel stud kit specifically designed for late model Camaro, Firebird, and Corvette applications. Engineered for the demands of racing, these studs are crafted from premium-grade, heat-treated 8740 chrome moly steel, providing a substantial tensile strength of 200,000 psi. This superior material composition ensures the studs can reliably handle the immense acceleration shock loads (shear) and lateral forces (elongation) common in high-performance driving and competition. These wheel studs feature a precise M12 x 1.50 thread size, a .509-inch knurl diameter, a 2.000-inch underhead length (UHL), a .315-inch knurl length, and a .200-inch nose length. The cadmium-plated finish not only adds a layer of corrosion resistance but also contributes to the overall durability of the studs. They are designed as a direct replacement for stock studs, making them a crucial upgrade for any vehicle involved in oval track or drag racing.
