The SR Performance Cold Air Intake is a polished aluminum intake system engineered to enhance the performance of your 2015-2017 EcoBoost Mustang. By replacing the restrictive factory intake with a high-flow filter assembly, this system delivers a noticeable increase in rear wheel horsepower and torque, along with improved throttle response. The intake tube is constructed from polished aluminum, adding a visually appealing element to your engine bay. This reusable filter can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reinstalled, offering long-term cost savings. The kit includes all necessary parts and detailed instructions. While this intake does not strictly require a computer re-tune to function and improve performance, a custom tune is recommended by the manufacturer to achieve the best possible gains by optimizing the ECU for the increased airflow. It is important to note that this SR Performance Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified. Therefore, it is not legal for use in California or any other states that adhere to California emission standards. This product is intended for off-road use only on pollution-controlled motor vehicles.
