The Whipple Stage 1 Performance Kit features a Whipple Mega Cooler, high-flow air system, and an emissions-legal calibration. It's designed to improve thermal performance and deliver substantial power gains, producing up to 80 foot-pounds of torque and 60 horsepower more than stock, with increased torque from 2000 RPM. The kit includes the Whipple MPVI3 flash tool for calibration, trouble code reading, and data logging. The Mega Cooler offers 54% greater volume and 8% more surface area, resulting in a 60°F drop in temperature on the dyno and over 100°F drop during steady-state torture testing. The high-velocity air intake system uses a CAD-driven, CFD-modeled roto-molded plastic intake and a velocity stack gauze-type filter that flows over 132% more air than a stock paper filter. The kit also revises shift schedules, increases RPM shift points, updates pedal mapping, turns off auto start/stop, and increases the speed limit. No cutting or grinding is required for installation.
