Overview

The KC Turbos Whistler Stage 2 Turbo is a performance upgrade for 2011-2019 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L engines. This turbo features an upgraded billet 64mm compressor wheel and a 10-blade high-flow turbine wheel, designed to produce a unique whistle sound. It offers improved boost control, cooler EGTs, and quicker spool-up compared to stock.

This turbo is a direct drop-in for 2015+ models, with a need for a pedestal conversion kit for 2015-2016 trucks. For 2011-2014 models, a retrofit kit is required. Proper fueling and updated calibrations/tuning are necessary to achieve the turbo's full potential.

The KC Turbos Whistler Stage 2 Turbo (MPN: 300870) is engineered as a performance upgrade for 2011-2019 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L diesel engines, offering enhanced airflow and a distinctive turbo whistle. It features an upgraded billet 64mm compressor wheel and a KC Turbos 10-blade high-flow turbine wheel, contributing to improved boost control, lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), and quicker spool-up. This turbo is designed as a direct drop-in for 2015 and newer trucks, although the 2015-2016 model years require a specific pedestal conversion kit for installation. For 2011-2014 models, a separate retrofit kit is necessary. To fully harness the potential of the Stage 2 turbo, a healthy CP4 fuel pump or an upgraded fueling system, such as stroker or dual fuelers, along with updated calibrations and tuning, is mandatory. Note that this product is not available for sale in California due to emissions regulations; consult the provided emissions notice for details. Compatibility with exhaust brakes can be problematic, as some designs may cause clearance issues, hinder performance, or rub against the turbine wheel. It is the customer's responsibility to verify fitment and functionality with any aftermarket exhaust brake. KC Turbos offers a 1-year unlimited mileage limited warranty on this turbocharger.
