The Wilwood DynaPro Lug Mount (DP) forged billet caliper is the newest generation of calipers, designed as an upgrade or replacement for applications previously using the Dynalite series. These calipers combine race technology with Wilwood performance enhancements, offering a sleek profile, superior strength, and a fully machined finish for competition or show. The strength comes from a stress-flow forging process and an FEA-generated body design with a fortified radial transition that eliminates steps and shoulders, increasing resistance to deflection and caliper body separation. This results in increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel, providing a firm, responsive pedal with outstanding stopping power. The DynaPro features Quick-E-Clip pad retainers for fast pad service without caliper removal and a slimmer profile for tight clearance applications. Heavy wall stainless steel pistons resist corrosion, slow heat transfer from pads, and provide additional strength against backside deflection. All DP calipers can be fitted with a center bridge bolt kit for even greater resistance against body separation under high load.
