Wilwood Caliper-Forged Superlite 4R 1.38/1.38in Pistons 1.10in Disc, Yellow

The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R (FNSL4R) caliper is a radially mounted caliper designed for high performance and racing applications. It features a stress-flow forged aluminum body for superior strength and light weight (4.9 lbs). The FNSL4R calipers incorporate "Big Brake" styling and Wilwood's latest technology to provide strong stopping power in extreme environments across a wide range of vehicle applications. These calipers are available in different piston bore sizes and can be used as either a front or rear caliper. Standard FNSL4R calipers come with one-piece stainless steel pistons, known for their slow heat transfer properties and high resistance to corrosion. An upgrade to Wilwood's exclusive Thermlock pistons is also available for enhanced thermal barrier properties, further reducing heat transfer. Each FNSL4R is equipped with SRS bridge plates to eliminate bridge wear and extend caliper service life. The spring-loaded action of the SRS plates also prevents pad rattle and dampens harmonic vibrations that contribute to pad squeal. Two-piece bleed screws and internal fluid crossovers protect against damage from track debris. High-temperature, square-faced bore seals ensure optimal sealing and controlled piston retraction. The caliper is finished in a yellow powder coat.
