Wilwood Brake Pad part number 15A-5887K-B has a pad type #8316 with compound PolyMatrix A and is for use in high-temperature racing pads applications. It is an ultimate high friction pad with aggressive initial response, immediate low temperature response, and low wear rate. The pads must be capable of maintaining the proper amount of friction for stopping power within the temperatures realized on the track during the event. For most asphalt and road race applications, compounds in the high temperature ranges over 1000°F range are usually necessary.
