Description

The Wilwood 200-14000 is a Thermlock piston designed to minimize heat transfer from brake pads to the caliper body, seals, and fluid. It features a multi-part construction with a stainless steel shield and a coated aluminum shell.

This piston retards heat transfer by at least 25 percent, which helps eliminate seal crystallization and localized fluid boiling. This reduction in heat also decreases distortion in caliper bodies and piston bores, contributing to an extended service life.
