Overview

When an original equipment power window regulator and smart motor assembly malfunctions, often due to an electronic failure in the motor, replacing it with the same design may lead to similar future issues. The Dorman OE FIX assembly features upgraded electronics for greater processing power, faster response times, and better protection against voltage spikes, heat-related failures, and motor stall conditions. To extend service life, the printed circuit board (PCB) is coated with a special resin that resists moisture, dust, and other contaminants. The smart motor's proprietary software ensures a seamless installation and simple calibration, with no special tools or skills required. This upgraded power window regulator and smart motor is designed to restore all original equipment functionality and has been tested to meet federal motor vehicle anti-pinch standards.
