The Rockford Fosgate PMX-8DH is a full-function wired display head controller specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the PMX-8BB hide-away receiver, serving as the command center for your digital media system. It ensures instant and reliable control over all receiver capabilities, eliminating lag and dropouts. Built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, the PMX-8DH boasts IPX6-rated water spray resistance and a conformal-coated PCB, making it suitable for marine and motorsport applications. Its 5-inch ultra-bright TFT display utilizes optical bonding technology to cut glare and enhance clarity, even in direct sunlight. Navigation is intuitive thanks to a precision rotary encoder and white LED backlit buttons, ensuring visibility day or night. For on-the-fly adjustments, dedicated front-panel subwoofer level controls are included, allowing quick bass tuning without delving into menus. The PMX-8DH offers comprehensive system command, including playback controls, source selection, track skipping, and zone management. It supports composite video input, enabling the integration of external video sources or camera systems, thereby expanding the system's versatility. A dedicated USB port is provided for firmware updates, ensuring the controller stays current with the latest improvements. The unit's dimensions are 5.1" H x 8.3" W x 0.8" D, with a shallow mounting depth. Included in the box are the wired remote control, a 10-foot DIN cable, trim bezel, mounting plate, screws, and installation/operation manuals. The device operates within a voltage range of 10.5V - 16V and features Bluetooth 3.0+EDR, A2DP 1.3, Pandora Internet Radio compatibility, and SiriusXM-Ready capability (requires SXV300). It is not compatible with Apple/Android devices directly, and does not have speaker outputs or an auxiliary input.
