The EMPI 98-9490-0 is a replacement wiring harness specifically designed for 1972 through 1973 Volkswagen Beetle Hardtop and Sunroof models. It features the correct gauge wire with color-coded stripes for trouble-free matching to the factory wiring diagram. The branch wires are individually packaged and numbered for easy identification and installation, and it includes original style push-on terminal wire ends and factory connectors. This comprehensive kit includes the main harness, front harness set, miscellaneous harness assemblies, dash wires, connectors, and grommets, along with a detailed instruction manual. The harness is compatible with both 6 and 12-volt systems. Fuse boxes, electrical switches, and battery cables are not included. This harness is for US Model Beetles and is for left-hand drive vehicles.
