Racer Elite 4-stroke pistons are the first to be forged with a 2000-series alloy, providing greater tensile strength for full-race applications. The ArmorPlating surface treatment on the crown, ring groove, and pin bores protects against detonation, friction wear, and ring micro-welding. The ArmorFit skirt coating conforms to the cylinder bore, ensuring optimized fitment and performance. Racer Elite pistons are designed for those who demand the highest performance and reliability in racing conditions.

MIA's Description

The Wiseco RE825M09700 Racer Elite 4-Stroke Series Piston Kit is R&D developed to provide dyno-proven power gains. It features an asymmetric skirt design for improved wear and even loading on the major thrust skirt, a precision fit ring, and a custom-lapped compression ring for improved power. The piston is 100% billet machined for superior strength-to-weight ratio and optimized fit, with a high compression ratio (14:1 for 450cc) for maximum torque and throttle response. The dome design improves flame travel to maximize air/fuel burn efficiency. It also includes a DLC-coated piston pin to reduce friction and improve scuff resistance, enhanced pin oiling for improved lubrication, and a pressure seal groove to reduce ring lifting and power loss. ArmorGlide® skirt coating further reduces friction for quieter operation and improved scuff resistance. The kit includes rings, pin, and circlips.
