The piston crown shapes are designed to promote maximum intake charge efficiency through scavenging mixture "Cross Flow" during intake and exhaust valve overlap, leading to more horsepower. The piston domes are designed for optimal quench during the compression/combustion cycle, increasing resistance to detonation and preignition, resulting in longer engine life and increased horsepower potential. Wiseco's ArmorGlide skirt coating minimizes friction, maximizes horsepower, and improves wear resistance.
