This kit includes four forged pistons, designed for Audi and Volkswagen 2.0L EA113 engines. These pistons are built from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding performance builds. The 82.50mm bore size and -11.5cc dish volume are specific to this engine application, aiming to optimize combustion for power and efficiency. Wiseco has included several features to enhance durability and performance. The pistons have precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and additional features designed to improve ring seal. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps reduce friction and resist seizure, contributing to quieter operation and longer life under stress. The fully machined crown ensures a clean combustion chamber surface, and forced pin oiling helps keep the wrist pin lubricated during high-RPM operation.
