The Wisycom MPR52-ENG is a sophisticated two-channel, ultra-wideband receiver engineered for professional ENG (Electronic News Gathering) applications. It offers exceptional flexibility with its dual built-in diversity receivers, capable of both analog and digital audio outputs (AES3). The unit boasts an impressive bandwidth of up to 790 MHz within the 470-1260 MHz range, complemented by next-generation multiband front-end filtering for superior signal reception. Users can select between wideband and narrowband DSP-FM operation, allowing for tailored performance. The narrowband mode enhances band efficiency by over 50% and provides approximately 3dB extra sensitivity and noise immunity. For specific regions, country-specific Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters are available, including options for the USA (940-960 MHz) and Japan (1240-1260 MHz). The receiver also features an ultrafast spectrum scan for quick and easy setup, a high-contrast OLED display, and automatic transmitter programming via infrared. Powering options include two standard AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable) or a dedicated MPRLBP lithium battery pack, with charging available through the micro-USB-B connector.
