The Iron Rock Off Road WJ High Clearance HD Crossmember is a bolt-in replacement for the factory transmission crossmember on WJ Jeeps. It is designed to provide increased ground clearance, offering 1.8 inches more under the lowest area and 2 inches more under most of the unit compared to the stock component. This crossmember is constructed from 1/4" steel plate with 3/16" gussets for enhanced strength and durability.

Replacing the factory crossmember, which is known for hanging low, this HD unit is designed to hug the vehicle's belly, providing an additional 1.8 inches of clearance at its lowest point and up to 2 inches more overall. This substantial gain allows for better navigation over obstacles off-road. Constructed from robust 1/4-inch steel plate and reinforced with 3/16-inch steel gussets, this crossmember is built for demanding off-road conditions. It is CNC laser cut and formed to ensure a precise fit on your WJ. The design has been professionally engineered and tested for strength, making it a durable upgrade for any Jeep enthusiast looking to enhance their vehicle's off-road capability. It is important to note several fitment restrictions. This crossmember does NOT fit 2WD models. It is also incompatible with Rock Link front long arms and the factory WJ transfer case skid plate. While it fits with all stock exhaust systems, the increased clearance may require slight modifications to custom exhaust systems depending on their routing relative to the stock configuration. Installation involves direct replacement of the factory crossmember. Detailed installation instructions are available to guide the process.
