The Solo Performance WK2-Thunder-Res cat-back exhaust kit is engineered for the 2012-present Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8, offering a deep, aggressive 60s muscle car sound on the exterior without the typical drone associated with larger exhaust systems. Constructed from 3-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel, this comprehensive kit includes a front H-pipe for improved exhaust flow and cylinder pressure equalization, four free-flow Solo resonators (including two 55-degree angled resonators for enhanced sound dynamics), and distinctive rear tunable J-pipes. These J-pipes utilize a unique technology where sound waves entering them bottom out on an end cap and bounce back, colliding with the specific drone frequency of the Jeep SRT-8 and canceling it out, resulting in a comfortable, non-invasive interior sound profile at cruise speeds. All necessary hardware is included, and the system is completely bolt-on, requiring only regular tools and no welding.
