The 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 is a multi-layer, dual cast, adhesive-backed film engineered for vehicle wraps, accents, and partial decoration. This wrap film utilizes 3M's proprietary Controltac and Comply adhesive systems, which facilitate smoother and faster installation by enabling easy repositioning and virtually bubble-free application. It offers improved conformability and cold stretch performance over the older 3M Wrap Film Series 1080, ensuring a better fit and finish. The material is also designed with excellent resistance to lifting and is ready for immediate use without the need for an overlaminate or graphic protection. Its 60-inch wide roll is intended to minimize seams on any vehicle. The 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 comes with an improved warranty compared to the Series 1080, offering up to 8 years of coverage depending on the application and location. Installation guidelines include never installing the film on uncured paint. Handwashing is recommended for maintaining the film's condition. Common application areas include hoods, roofs, trunks, doors, grilles, bumpers, side mirrors, and interior trim, suitable for flat, simple curved, compound curved, and corrugated surfaces.
