The Link ECU WRXLink WRX4X is a standalone engine control unit designed for use with JDM Ver. 3 / Ver. 4 EJ20 engines featuring manual transmissions. This ECU is a direct fit, installing inside the factory OEM enclosure without requiring alterations to the factory wiring loom for compatible models.

The Link ECU WRXLink WRX4X (SKU 227-4000) is a G4X Plugin ECU engineered to deliver advanced engine management technology for Subaru WRX and STI models equipped with the JDM Ver. 3 / Ver. 4 EJ20 engine and manual transmissions. This ECU is suitable for GC8D, GC8E, WRX, and STI models manufactured between September 1996 and August 1998. While most factory features are supported, an air temperature sensor is highly recommended for optimal performance. It's important to verify that your vehicle's connector matches the header shown in the product photos before purchase. Additionally, a modification is required before E-Throttle functionality can be utilized with this ECU.
