The Trufiber Firebird WS6 style Ram Air Hood is designed to enhance the appearance and potentially reduce weight on your 1993-1997 Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am. Constructed from durable fiberglass, this hood features a functional WS6-style ram air scoop that can direct cold air towards the stock air box. It also includes a steel-reinforced latch for added safety and security. The hood comes in a shiny gel coat finish with a fully finished underside, but requires minor surface finishing, priming, and painting for proper installation. A mesh grill is included. The manufacturer also advises that all hoods must be dry-fitted on the vehicle prior to any paint or body work to ensure proper fitment and check for manufacturing defects. Any hood that has been painted or modified cannot be returned under warranty. Trufiber hoods are hand-laid fiberglass and may have minor imperfections, unlike OEM hoods. It is recommended to take the hood to a body shop experienced with fiberglass for installation and painting to avoid excessive charges or poor workmanship. For maximum safety, hood pins are not required but are recommended. This product is intended for off-road use and may not meet OEM safety requirements. All sales are final, and shipping is non-refundable. The manufacturer's warranty against defects is for 30 days.
