X-Series 52mm Wideband AFR Gauge

The AEM X-Series Wideband UEGO (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen) Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Controller Gauge is built with patented, 100% digital technology, making it the fastest responding wideband air/fuel ratio controller in independent testing. This is a crucial tool for engine tuning, enabling accurate monitoring of the Air/Fuel Ratio. Deviations into rich conditions can lead to power loss, while lean conditions pose a significant risk of engine damage. This gauge integrates the controller into its 52mm diameter housing, which is less than 7/8ths of an inch thick, offering flexibility in mounting options. It features auto-dimming LEDs and a user-configurable display. Via buttons on the gauge face, users can adjust AFR values for different fuels (gas: 8.0:1 to 20:1), switch between AFR, Lambda, or O2% readings, select 3 or 4-digit display, perform free-air calibration, and change the CAN message ID. The gauge provides both a CAN signal output and a 0-5V output for integration with your ECU. The kit includes the wideband oxygen sensor, electronics, wiring, and a bung for welding to your exhaust system. For optimal performance and to prevent incorrect readings, the wideband sensor must be installed before the catalytic converter. If your exhaust manifold is OEM, a bung will need to be welded into the pipe connecting to the catalytic converter. The sensor itself requires a top-mounted installation, positioned between the 9:00 and 3:00 o'clock locations on the exhaust pipe.
