The AEM X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge (PN 30-0333) offers advanced air/fuel ratio monitoring for tuners utilizing piggyback tuning modules or open-source software. It provides an OBDII pass-through, allowing AFR readings directly through the vehicle's ECU CAN-bus stream for more accurate and safer tuning. This gauge utilizes X-Digital technology for high-speed digital implementation, ensuring no loss of signal fidelity and full transient response to identify even the slightest AFR fluctuations.
This controller supports the popular Bosch 4.9LSU sensor and offers flexibility by allowing users to choose between factory resistor calibration or free-air calibration methods. The 52mm gauge features a slim depth of 0.825 inches and a customizable display with buttons on the faceplate for AFR, Lambda, O2%, and OBDII output settings. It is compatible with system voltages up to 16V and can be used on various applications including gasoline, methanol, and E85. Optional 0-5V and RS232 outputs are available for data logging and feedback control, requiring additional wiring. The gauge also includes a black bezel and a dual-faced AFR/Lambda faceplate, with a silver bezel/white gauge option sold separately.
A key feature is the OBDII CAN-bus output, which replaces the traditional AEMnet stream found in other X-Series gauges. This allows for programmability of the OBDII address, including ECU #, Parameter Identification (PID), Message Identifier, and Bit Rate, if the default address does not work with the vehicle's network. The AEM X-Series gauge is verified to work with HPTuners, EFILive, and DashDaq.
