X500+ Turbocharger

The Boost Controlled Performance X500+ WRX/STI Turbocharger is engineered as a do-it-all stock location turbo for street and track enthusiasts. It merges quick spool with high-volume airflow, capable of supporting over 500 wheel horsepower with the necessary supporting modifications. The turbo features a stock inlet size, facilitating a straightforward bolt-on installation without the added cost or complexity of larger inlets. This turbo includes essential installation hardware such as SureSeal© multi-layer gaskets for leak-free operation and brand-new downpipe studs. BCP strongly suggests using their aftermarket line kit, which features stainless braided high-pressure AN lines and fittings, to ensure adequate and reliable oiling to the turbocharger. This ensures optimal performance and longevity, with units in the field having seen over 60,000 miles of hard use with exceptional reliability. Installation Notes: This turbo is only available in the STI-Style compressor housing. For 2008-2014 WRX models, you will need to clearance the air pump hard line on the compressor cover to address a minor clearance issue. A tune IS REQUIRED to run this turbo. BCP does NOT recommend running any type of oil restrictor with this turbo. The X500+ offers an excellent part-throttle feel, transitioning in and out of boost effortlessly. It is compatible with all aftermarket 5-bolt USDM downpipes and the stock downpipe. The turbocharger boasts an 11-blade billet compressor wheel and a dual-feed hydrostatic bearing for enhanced durability and performance, with a maximum flow rating of 600 crank horsepower.
