The Comp Cams CL07-466-8 XFI Hydraulic Roller Cam and Lifter Kit is engineered for GM LT1 and LT4 350 cubic inch, 8-cylinder engines manufactured between 1995 and 1997. The camshaft features a hydraulic roller design with an operating RPM range of 1,800-5,800. The specific camshaft profile includes an intake duration at 0.050 inch lift of 218 degrees and an exhaust duration at 0.050 inch lift of 224 degrees. The advertised durations are 268 degrees for intake and 276 degrees for exhaust, with a lobe separation of 113 degrees. Valve lift specifications are 0.570 inches for intake and 0.565 inches for exhaust. This kit comes with the camshaft and hydraulic roller lifters. However, it's important to note that upgraded valve springs are required for proper operation. Additionally, to maximize the performance gains and ensure proper operation, an upgraded exhaust system and a performance programmer or chip are necessary. The camshaft material is Austempered Ductile Iron and it utilizes a 3-bolt camshaft gear attachment.
