Overview

The CP-E xFlex™ is a rear motor mount designed for the Mazdaspeed3 Stage 2. It features a billet CNC construction with an EPDM bushing to protect against overheating and stainless steel hardware. The vertically mounted bushing increases durability, and machined pockets create a lightweight yet strong mount.

The CP-E xFlex™ Mazda Rear Motor Mount is a Stage 2 upgrade engineered to address the known weakness of the stock rear motor mount on the Mazdaspeed3. This mount is constructed from billet CNC-machined aluminum, significantly reducing weight from its original 15.81 lbs down to a mere 3.53 lbs while maintaining strength. The design incorporates an EPDM bushing, chosen for its superior vibration resistance compared to polyurethane and its resilience to stretching and cracking. This material also provides better protection against overheating. Furthermore, the bushing is mounted vertically, which allows it to be stressed in only one direction, substantially increasing its durability and preventing the pendulum effect sometimes seen in other mount designs. The metal inserts are physically pressed into the EPDM bushings, ensuring a perfect connection with no gaps and allowing the EPDM to effectively absorb vibrations. Installation directions are included to guide you through the process. The mount is finished in black and made from aluminum and rubber materials.
