It features a unique method of holding the mount in place by distributing load across CNC lathed aluminum spacers. This design allows for a lower durometer bushing while maintaining stiffness and reducing NVH.

The Cp-e xFlex™ 2.7 Ford EcoBoost Rear Motor Mount is engineered to enhance performance by stabilizing engine rotational movement. Unlike traditional designs that place all the force on the center bushing pin, this mount utilizes CNC lathed aluminum spacers to distribute the load throughout the bushing. This innovative approach increases the effective stiffness of the bushing under engine loads, allowing for a lower durometer rating without compromising reliability. Constructed from billet CNC material with EPDM bushings and CNC lathed aluminum spacers, this rear motor mount is built for durability. The use of EPDM, a type of rubber, is a key feature, as it offers superior heat resistance compared to urethane, which can begin to fail at temperatures as low as 200ºF. EPDM's higher density allows for a lower durometer rating, which effectively minimizes the transfer of vibrations and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) into the cabin. This mount is designed for 2017+ Ford Fusion Sport models with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine. All necessary hardware is included for installation, and the mount features a pressed center insert for a perfect connection between the bushing material and the metal components, ensuring optimal performance and vibration absorption. Note: Cp-e cannot guarantee fitment with the use of other aftermarket parts.
