XHP 222 Special Lithium Complex Grease

The Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is an extended service lithium complex grease engineered to excel in a wide variety of applications and demanding operational environments. Developed with cutting-edge, proprietary lithium complex manufacturing technology, it is formulated to surpass conventional greases. This grease delivers outstanding high-temperature performance, exceptional adhesion, robust structural stability, and superior resistance to water contamination. It offers a high degree of chemical stability and provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion. The Mobilgrease XHP 220 series, including the XHP 222 Special, features high dropping points and a maximum recommended operating temperature of 140º C (284°F). It is available in NLGI grades 00, 0, 1, 2, and 3, with an ISO VG 220 base oil viscosity. Specifically, Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is an extreme pressure grease fortified with 0.75% molybdenum disulfide. This fortification provides enhanced protection against wear, particularly under conditions involving pivoting or other scenarios that can lead to a loss of the oil film. Its features include superb resistance to water washout and spray-off, a highly adhesive and cohesive structure that reduces leakage and extends re-lubrication intervals, and excellent rust and corrosion resistance. Its very good anti-wear and EP performance ensures reliable protection of lubricated equipment, potentially extending equipment life and reducing unscheduled downtime.
