The Mobilgrease XHP 461 is an extended service lithium complex grease formulated for a wide variety of heavy-duty applications and operating conditions. Key features of Mobilgrease XHP 461 include superb resistance to water washout and spray-off, ensuring proper lubrication even in severe water exposure. Its highly adhesive and cohesive structure helps reduce leakage and extend re-lubrication intervals. The grease also boasts excellent rust and corrosion resistance, protecting components in harsh aqueous environments. Furthermore, it exhibits very good resistance to thermal, oxidative, and structural degradation at high temperatures, extending grease life and enhancing bearing protection. Designed with an ISO VG 460 base oil viscosity and available in NLGI Grade 1, Mobilgrease XHP 461 offers very good anti-wear and extreme pressure (EP) performance. This reliable protection is crucial for lubricated equipment operating under high sliding conditions, potentially leading to extended equipment life and reduced downtime. Its broad multi-purpose application can also lead to inventory rationalization and reduced costs. This grease is ideal for operating conditions involving high temperatures, water contamination, shock loading, and extended re-lubrication intervals. It is suitable for a wide range of applications across the industrial, automotive, construction, and marine sectors. The maximum recommended operating temperature is 140º C (284°F).
