Xida Coilovers with Tractive Dampers and Swift Springs

Supermiata's Xida coilovers, developed in partnership with TractTive Suspension and Swift Springs, are engineered to provide superior performance for Mazda MX-5 NA (Mk1) and NB (Mk2) models. These coilovers have earned accolades for their success in national road racing championships. The design focuses on optimizing the damper body length and employing a single perch system, which maximizes fluid volume to enhance efficiency and combat overheating. The coilovers offer more damper stroke than competing products, allowing the suspension to perform optimally before engaging bump stops. The double-digressive damper is adjusted via a single knob, tuning both compression and rebound simultaneously for simplified setup and harmonious system operation. With exceptional valving and superior spring quality, these coilovers generate significant grip across various paved surfaces without sacrificing ride comfort. The digressive damping contributes to ultra-sharp handling and substantial grip, while also enabling the vehicle to navigate trackside curbs smoothly without becoming unsettled. A variety of spring rates are available, including 22/11 kg/mm for full slicks, 16/9 kg/mm for road legal semi-slicks, 12/7 kg/mm for ultra-high-performance street tires, and 10/6 kg/mm for touring comfort (not recommended for 200tw or race tires). Key features include single-adjustable compression and rebound with 20 steps, optimized length for 4-5" pinch weld heights, full aluminum monotube construction, 46mm double digressive pistons, and billet coaxial mounts front and rear. Helper springs facilitate lower ride heights without compromising spring preload. The internal floating piston design, adjustable spring perches, Torrington thrust bearings, and high-pressure nitrogen charging further enhance performance. The front stroke is 120mm, with 103mm in the rear. They utilize spherical bearing lower mounts and a dual spring system with Torrington bearings and spring couplers. The total weight is approximately 8 lbs for the front and 7 lbs for the rear.
