The King Engine MB5013XP 010 XP-Series Main Bearings are engineered for high-performance applications, offering superior stability and durability. Constructed with an enhanced tri-metal composition, these bearings feature a layered copper-lead construction, a nickel plate barrier, and a lead/tin/copper Babbitt overlay over a steel backing. This advanced adhesion process results in exceptional stability and longevity. King's XP-Series bearings are designed with extremely tight wall thickness tolerances, measuring +/- 0.0001 inches. They are narrowed for large radii crankshafts and include enlarged, chamfered oil holes. The bearings offer a choice of full, 3/4, or 1/2 grooving for enhanced oiling and are built to handle high-load capacities. These are race-only Xtreme Performance bearings, proven to withstand the demands of race engines. This specific set is for a 0.010 inch (0.25mm) crankshaft undersize. The grooved bearing design features an upper groove location with a 1/2 groove style, and the thrust bearing is stock size. They are compatible with a wide range of GM LS-series engines, including the CHEVY SMALL BLOCK GEN III/IV LS V8 GAS, CHEVY SMALL BLOCK GEN V V8 GAS, CHEVY SMALL BLOCK GEN III/IV LS V8 FLEX FUEL, and CHEVY SMALL BLOCK GEN V V8 FLEX FUEL engine families, covering many Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, and Hummer models from the early 2000s to late 2010s.
