XP-Series Main Bearings

The King MB5227XP XP-Series Main Bearings are engineered for enhanced engine performance and durability. These bearings utilize King's proprietary Alecular Bearing Material, a specialized alloy that provides superior embedability compared to traditional tri-metal constructions. The Alecular material is applied as a single deep layer (.012" - .015") onto a robust steel backing. King Engine Bearings are manufactured with exceptionally tight wall thickness tolerances, held to +/- .0001", which is significantly tighter than industry standards. This precision manufacturing also extends to the bearing flange length, a technology pioneered by King, which can aid in managing borderline crankshaft endplay situations without requiring additional machining. The XP-Series also features a narrowed design for large radii crankshafts, enlarged, chamfered oil holes, and options for full, 3/4 in., or 1/2 in. grooving for optimal oil flow. These main bearings are designed as a Standard Replacement grade type with an inside diameter of 57.0mm. They come with a 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty.
