XP-Series Main Bearings

The King Bearings XP-Series Main Bearings MB5770XP.026 are high-performance engine bearings engineered to meet the rigorous demands of racing applications. Built with an enhanced tri-metal construction, these bearings utilize a layered copper-lead design complemented by a nickel plate barrier. A lead/tin/copper Babbitt overlay is bonded to a steel backing through an advanced adhesion process, ensuring superior stability and long-term durability. King's meticulous manufacturing process achieves wall thickness tolerances of an exceptional +/- .0001 inches, significantly tighter than conventional bearings. They also incorporate enlarged, chamfered oil holes and are available with full, 3/4 in., or 1/2 in. grooving options to enhance oil flow and lubrication under extreme conditions. The performance-oriented design delivers consistent and reliable operation with a high-load capacity. Intended for race-only use, these Xtreme Performance (XP-Series) Tri-Lecular main bearings are built to withstand the extreme power output of race engines. They are sold as a set of five and are designed with a .026mm (0.001 in.) crankshaft undersize.
