The Carbotech XP12 is a high-performance rear brake pad specifically engineered for advanced track drivers and race applications. This ceramic compound offers excellent initial bite, modulation, and release, ensuring consistent braking performance under demanding conditions. Its design prioritizes rotor friendliness and produces 100% non-corrosive dust, minimizing wear on brake components. The XP12 compound is most effective on race cars weighing 2,400 lbs or more with R-Compound tires, or street cars weighing 3,200 lbs or more when used exclusively for track events. It is ideal for various racing series including LMP1, LMP2, DP, T1, T2, T3, H1, H2, GT1, GT2, GT3, TC, GT, ST, GS, and MX-5 Cup. The operational temperature range for these pads is 250-2000ºF+ (121-1093ºC+), with a peak friction coefficient of approximately 0.65. While capable of functioning in cooler temperatures, Carbotech XP12 pads are not recommended for daily street use due to potentially elevated levels of dust and noise. This product is designed for Brembo calipers and fits a range of vehicles including the Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, Subaru WRX STI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Nissan 350Z, and GT-R R32/R33/R34.
