The Borla 400115 XR-1 Multi-Core Racing Muffler is engineered for demanding applications such as pre-runner trucks, high-horsepower off-road use, drag racing, and custom high-HP builds. It boasts Borla's patented Multi-Core design, which facilitates maximum flow, horsepower, and torque while helping to manage sound. The muffler is constructed entirely from T-304 stainless steel with all-welded construction and reinforcing ribs, ensuring superior corrosion resistance and durability even under extreme racing conditions. This universal muffler features a reversible 3-inch center inlet and outlet, allowing for flexible adaptation to various exhaust layouts. The long oval body shape measures 5.5 inches in height, 8.5 inches in width, and 34 inches in length (39.25 inches overall length). It is packed with high-temperature stainless wool to effectively absorb sound without restricting flow, producing a deep racing tone. The absence of an embossed logo contributes to a clean racing appearance. Installation is recommended to be performed professionally, with the 3-inch inlet/outlet designed to connect directly to standard exhaust tubing, requiring clamping or welding. The reversible design and reinforcing ribs simplify mounting onto truck chassis. Borla backs this product with a million-mile limited warranty.
