The Kenwood XR-1801P is a 7-inch high-resolution component speaker system engineered for superior sound reproduction in vehicles. Featuring a 7-inch glass fiber cone woofer, these speakers are designed to handle a wide range of frequencies, from impactful bass to delicate tones. The cone's combination of high strength and lightweight materials ensures accurate sound reproduction. The woofer also includes a stability-enhancing circle rib and an asymmetrical surround roll shape for focused, deep bass. Complementing the woofer is a large 1-3/16-inch (30mm) titanium hard dome tweeter. This design offers a larger surface area than typical tweeters, enabling clear reproduction of vocals and ultra-high frequencies. Both flush and surface mounting options are provided for the tweeters, along with a multi-bracket for the woofer to simplify installation in various vehicle types. The XR-1801P system includes a bi-ampable crossover network box, allowing for individual power delivery to the tweeter and woofer from compatible amplifier channels. This network is protected by a high-reliability polyswitch and resistor to prevent tweeter overdrive. Key specifications include a peak input power of 330W, rated input power of 120W, and an impedance of 3Ω. The frequency response ranges from 35Hz to 40kHz (-10dB). The cutout diameter is 6 inches, and the mounting depth is 2-7/16 inches.
