Show original supplier description
The Stance XR1 coilover system is designed specifically for the 1983-1987 Toyota Corolla AE86 chassis, providing a refined single-way adjustable damping experience. This kit includes front camber plates and utilizes inverted monotube dampers to enhance suspension response and handling precision compared to previous generations. The build quality features high-performance pillowball mounts and updated bushing materials for increased longevity. A notable advancement in this line is the corrosion prevention system, which utilizes a dual-coating process starting with a zinc binding, followed by a hard, thin electrophoretically deposited protective layer to improve durability against harsh environments. This specific ST-AE86-XR1-Weld variant is engineered for applications where the coilovers require welding to the OEM spindles, providing a tailored fit for specialized builds. The front dampers are paired with Swift springs for enhanced spring performance. Buyers should note this system is intended for the specified AE86 chassis years and configurations.
