Overview

The TD04HL-19T is an upgraded turbocharger designed as a direct replacement for the stock GT1752. This turbocharger features a 46mm cold side, a 58mm hot side, a 47.2mm inducer, and a 41.4mm exducer. It is compatible with Saab's B205 and B235 engines.

For optimal performance and power benefit, it is recommended to have the ECU re-tuned and re-calibrated for this larger turbocharger. However, it can also be run without ECU modifications.

The TD04HL-19T is an upgraded turbocharger engineered to replace the factory GT1752 unit in Saab B205 and B235 engines. This turbo features a 46mm cold side and a 58mm hot side, with specific inducer and exducer dimensions of 47.2mm and 41.4mm, respectively, designed to increase airflow and performance over the stock unit. While this turbo can be installed and used without any additional modifications, maximum power and benefit are achieved when the vehicle's ECU is re-tuned and recalibrated to optimize for the larger airflow capacity. This allows the engine to take full advantage of the TD04HL-19T's capabilities, potentially leading to significant performance gains. This turbocharger is specifically mentioned as a direct upgrade for the Saab 9-5 Linear and Aero models, aiming to enhance performance by swapping out the factory GT1752. Its design focuses on providing a more robust and powerful alternative for enthusiasts seeking improved engine output.
