XS3 12.19-Inch Front Extreme Street Brake Kit

The TBM Brakes XS3 Front Extreme Street Brake Kit is engineered for 2005-2014 S197 Mustangs, offering a significant upgrade in stopping power derived from over 30 years of racing heritage. This kit bridges the gap between lightweight racing brakes and oversized street performance systems, providing exceptional braking performance without requiring larger wheels. Many factory 15-inch wheels and drag racing wheels are compatible with this kit. The XS3 caliper boasts all-billet construction from 6061 aluminum alloy, featuring a crossflow design that eliminates external tubes for more uniform piston pressure. Each caliper contains (4) 1.75-inch OD CNC stainless steel billet pistons, contributing to superior stopping power and pedal feel. The kit includes 12.19-inch slotted and vented rotors with a dark zinc plating for corrosion resistance, designed to balance weight, cooling, and durability while fitting most 15-inch and larger wheels. The included billet hubs utilize Timken bearings for enhanced durability and feature integrated mounting for optional wheel speed sensors. Included in the kit are race-inspired XS3 4-piston calipers, billet housings, stainless steel pistons, black anodized brackets and hubs, and dark zinc-plated rotors. The caliper bracket has a built-in provision for a speed sensor (sold separately). TBM Brakes advises against using silicone-based brake fluid; only DOT3, DOT4, or DOT5.1 fluids are recommended. For optimal performance, TBM Extreme 6 Fluid is suggested. This Made in the USA brake kit weighs 16.35lbs per side and comes with 12-point hardware.
