XS3 Front Extreme Street Brake Kit

The TBM XS3 Front Extreme Street Brake Kit is a purpose-built street performance brake system developed with over 30 years of racing heritage. It allows for the use of smaller diameter or factory-size wheels without sacrificing braking potential, and has been found to work with many steel factory 15" wheels and drag racing wheels. Constructed with billet caliper housings machined from solid 6061 Aluminum Alloy, the kit features a unique crossflow caliper design that eliminates external tubes and promotes equal pressure distribution to the pistons. Each caliper is equipped with four 1.75" OD pistons and billet CNC machined 304 stainless steel pistons. The calipers are available in durable two-part powdercoat finishes, while the brackets and hats are black anodized. The 12.19" vented and slotted rotors feature a dark zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Included are Hawk Performance HPS Ferro Carbon brake pads, renowned for balancing stopping potential with reduced noise and dust. This brake kit offers a significant weight saving of over 51lbs compared to the factory brakes. The kit includes two 12.19" vented rotors, two billet aluminum brake hats, two XS3 4-piston calipers, two caliper brackets, a complete set of pads, and a hardware kit. It is designed to reuse factory hubs with 14mm wheel studs. The manufacturer advises against the use of silicone-based brake fluid, recommending DOT3, DOT4, or DOT 5.1, with TBM Extreme 6 Fluid being suggested for optimal performance. Proper master cylinder and pedal ratio are essential for optimal performance, operating best at 6-800 psi brake pressure.
