XS3 Rear Extreme Street Brake Kit

The TBM XS3 Rear Extreme Street Brake Kit is a purpose-built street performance upgrade, drawing from over 30 years of racing heritage. This kit is designed to bridge the gap between lightweight racing brakes and larger diameter street performance systems, offering significant stopping power for your 2015-2025 F-150 (2WD/4WD, 6-lug, stock axle housing end). The kit features 12.19" vented and slotted rotors with a dark zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance. Constructed with a focus on strength and performance, the calipers are machined from solid 6061 aluminum alloy and utilize a crossflow design for equal pressure distribution. Each caliper houses four 1.75" OD pistons made from billet CNC-machined 304 stainless steel, providing exceptional stopping power and improved pedal feedback. The brake hats are also billet aluminum, and the brackets are black anodized for durability. This kit includes Hawk Performance HPS Ferro Carbon brake pads, known for balancing stopping potential with reduced noise and dust. The kit reuses factory hubs with 14mm wheel studs. It also includes all necessary hardware and rear brake lines, saving over 33lbs compared to factory brakes (33.4lbs vs 66.5lbs total for the kit). The parking brake is removed with this kit. Note that TBM Brakes does not recommend silicone-based brake fluid; only DOT3, DOT4, or DOT 5.1 is advised. For optimal performance, the brakes are designed to operate best between 6-800 psi brake pressure, and proper master cylinder and pedal ratio are essential.
