The Dometic Control Cable TFxtreme Gen II is a 15-foot control cable designed for Mercury engines. It features stainless steel and brass fittings for durability and corrosion resistance. The cable utilizes a heavy jacket and the TFxtreme splined, coated core element for smooth operation.

The outer casing is made of black HDPE, providing resistance to UV rays and chemicals. This cable is an OEM direct-replacement type for Mariner, Mercury, and MerCruiser engine control heads that use the Mercury 4000 Series style, specifically for 2003 and newer engines.
