The Comp Cams CL12-246-3 is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit engineered for Small Block Chevy engines with displacements from 262 to 400 cubic inches, compatible with model years 1955 through 1998. This Xtreme Energy series camshaft offers a strong mid-range torque output and improved throttle response, with an operational RPM range of 1800 to 6000. It features a .490 lift on both the intake and exhaust sides, with advertised durations of 274 degrees for intake and 286 degrees for exhaust, and durations at .050 lift of 230 degrees (intake) and 236 degrees (exhaust).
