CorteX coilover struts and shock mounts are among the most rigorously tested components, benefiting from the manufacturer's background as structural analysis engineers who understand strength, deflection, and fatigue. Every part is subjected to computer-simulated finite element modeling and confirmed through real-world use to ensure the highest quality and value. The system's strut housings and mounting brackets are built from durable steel. This material choice offers advantages over bulkier aluminum components, including increased tire clearance and reduced weight. Steel provides essential stiffness to minimize camber loss and prevent bending or component damage from impacts or off-track excursions. Engineers note that steel's superior stiffness and fatigue properties, compared to aluminum, are critical for suspension components that experience significant bending loads.
