The ACT SB10-XTSS is an Extreme Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit featuring an Xtreme pressure plate designed for demanding drivers. ACT Xtreme pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and reduce deflection for extended clutch life. The kit includes ACT's patented Monoloc, a one-piece direct replacement for standard wedge collar designs.

This clutch kit uses premium organic friction materials with a higher copper content for improved heat transfer and steel-backed lining for enhanced burst strength and durability. The Xtreme pressure plate provides a moderate to heavy pedal effort with smooth, positive engagement.

The ACT SB10-XTSS is an Extreme Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit engineered with an Xtreme pressure plate, offering increased clamp load and reduced deflection for enhanced durability and performance. ACT's exclusive diaphragm design and a four-stage heat-treating process ensure unparalleled performance and maximize clutch life. This kit includes the patented ACT Monoloc, a hardened chrome-moly steel, one-piece component that replaces the standard two-piece wedge collar, ensuring proper bearing and pressure plate alignment. The clutch disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials, featuring higher copper content for superior heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for greater burst strength. The Xtreme pressure plate results in moderate to heavy pedal effort and smooth, positive engagement, with a torque capacity of 598 ft-lbs, representing a 68% increase over OE. This clutch assembly is computer spin balanced to within .25 oz-in for smooth operation across the entire RPM range, exceeding the balance specification of typical stock production clutches. It is recommended for both street and race use. A break-in period of 300-500 miles with mild engagement is advised for the organic street discs before engaging in spirited driving or racing. The kit comes with a 12-month warranty. Fitment includes various Subaru Impreza WRX STI models from 2004 to 2021, as well as select Subaru Legacy GT spec.B models from 2007 to 2009.
